March 23, 2012 - Update on Sandoz Morphine packages
British Columbia’s health authorities, with the assistance of Health Shared Services BC and the Ministry of Health, have found all of the morphine packages from Sandoz Canada in B.C. that may have been affected by a packaging error made by the manufacturer. All of the morphine packages found in B.C. contained only morphine ampoules. There have been no adverse events for patients related to this packaging error by Sandoz.
